Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan is getting married to her finance Nupur Shikhare today, on January 3. Ahead of their big day, Nupur penned a note for his wife-to-be.
On January 2, Nupur shared a few pictures from their pre-wedding ceremony and wrote, ''One more day of being your fiancée @khan.ira ❤️😘I love you so much 😘😘😘''.
In all the pictures, Ira can be seen wearing a maroon-coloured saree while Nupur wore a golden brown jacket over a maroon kurta and a turban on his head.
In the first pic, both are standing and posing happily together. The second pic is of Ira feeding Nupur with her own hands, and the last picture is of Nupur feeding Ira.
On January 2, there was a haldi and a mehendi ceremony for the couple. The haldi ceremony was attended by Aamir Khan's ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Reena and Kiran share a cordial bond and they are part of all the pre-wedding celebrations of Ira and Nuour. Aamir's sisters were also in attendance.
For the unversed, Nupur Shikhare has been the trainer of Ira's father. He helped the 'Laal Singh Chaddha' actor to get a toned body. Nupur has been with Ira through thick and thin. He helped her come out of depression.
Both got engaged in September last year. They hosted a grand engagement party in November which was attended by their close friends and family members.
As per a report in IANS, Ira and Nupur will have an intimate wedding in Mumbai, followed by a court marriage. After the registration, the couple will host a reception in Jaipur. Several Bollywood celebrities are said to attend it.
