Paryatan Parv (Tourism Festival) Celebration

Rajpath, the ceremonial boulevard of New Delhi, plays gracious host to the cultures of India’s many states. The ‘Paryatan Parv’ (Tourism Festival), organised by the Ministry of Tourism, showcases folk artistes from across the country. Here, a series of pictures captures a day in the life of this cultural extravaganza. The glimmer of stage lights, brimming with energy and skill, gives way to the backstage, the more intimate space of the artiste.
