Raja Kumarihas been garnering a lot of praise ever since her last album was released. Post that, she even got enormous praise for her song in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’. However, not many realise the fact that she is a Grammy-nominated singer, which in itself is a huge achievement.

Talking about whether being Grammy nominated gets more money and better labels to the labels, she says, “No, it doesn’t directly convert into money. You earn whatever you can from the opportunities that come your way. The moment you receive a Grammy nomination, your rate doesn’t change, and it certainly doesn’t double. What truly matters is what you make of that recognition. Certainly, there are countless Grammy nominees around the world, right? Does that mean better labels and more viewers? Not necessarily. Some Grammy winners struggle to amass views. I believe that accolades like this don’t necessarily translate into tangible results in real-time.”

Opening up about her own experience she says, “In my experience, significant boosts in my social media presence have come from song releases and participating in television shows with substantial viewership. If your goal is to garner views and followers, then I would recommend considering the path of television shows, as that’s where such growth tends to originate.”
