Ranveer Singh is undeniably one of the best actors in B-town. He has given several hits and also received awards for his performances. The actor has added yet another feather in his cap. He was honoured at the Red Sea International Film Festival by Sharon Stone for his contributions towards cinema. Several celebrities like Johnny Depp and Will Smith among others attended the festival that took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Ranveer also posed with Depp and the pic has gone viral on social media.
Ranveer, who always puts the best fashion foot forward, was in an all-black look as he wore a black shirt, a shimmery black blazer and a pair of matching pants. Sharon Stone presented the award to Singh and said, "I have had the exciting pleasure of meeting Ranveer Singh before. What a great guy! He is truly an all-rounder creative genius. It gives me genuine great pleasure to welcome him to the stage to receive yet another prestigious award."
The 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' actor expressed happiness after receiving the prestigious award. He thanked his fans for being the driving force. ''They inspire me to push my limits and strive for greatness, to find that moment of truth that is invaluable,'' added the actor.
After bagging the award, Ranveer posed for a picture with Johnny Depp. He also thanked the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' fame actor for being an inspiration for his versatility. Johnny twinned in with Ranveer.
Singh said, "Wow! One of my screen idols is in the house, ladies and gentlemen, Mr Johnny Depp. My good Sir, I've followed your work since Edward Scissorhands and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. What an honour to be receiving this in your presence.”
He added, “Thank you for everything that you unknowingly taught me about the craft. Master of transformation, versatility, something that I am inspired by you."
On the work front, Ranveer will be seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' that also stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Kareena Kapoor Khan among others. He will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3'.
