In a recent development, the Delhi Police has arrested the man who made a deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna. The actor took to her social media account to express her feelings and say thanks to everyone who stood up for her.
Rashmika Mandanna took to her X (formerly, Twitter) account to express her gratitude towards the Delhi Police for finding the culprit and for making an arrest. She also thanked her fans and loved ones for standing up for her during the difficult times. She said, “Expressing my heartfelt gratitude to @DCP_IFSO. Thank you for apprehending those responsible. Feeling truly grateful for the community that embraces me with love, support and shields me. Girls and boys - if your image is used or morphed anywhere without your consent. It is wrong! And I hope this is a reminder that you are surrounded by people who will support you and action will be taken!”

Reacting to her tweet, one fan said, “More power to you, girl.” Another fan wrote, “We always stand by you.” A third fan mentioned, “Celebrity ho to ho gaya. Common janta ka hota to aise hi case dab jaata.” Her tweet has fetched over 6K likes and more than 247K views.
Delhi Police also responded to her tweet. The authorities said, “Thank you, @iamRashmika Ji. Glad we solved the case. Hope this will encourage women to raise their voices against such crimes. We are strongly committed to our motto: Shanti, Sewa, Nyaya.”
The accused was identified as a 23-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh who made that deepfake video to gain more followers on his fan page for the ‘Animal’ actor.
