Telugu star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is awaiting the release of ‘Shaakuntalam’ which for now has been postponed, has reportedly bought a luxurious property in Mumbai. She has thus joined the likes of her South counterpart Rashmika Mandanna.
As per a report in Siasat.com, the actress recently posted a photo of the sunset view on her Instagram, and it was not from any five-star hotel in Mumbai but from a skyscraper in the maximum city. The picture has led to speculations that Samantha may have bought a new house in Mumbai.
The report further added that the property is a luxurious three-bedroom apartment in Mumbai with a breathtaking sea view, and it is reportedly worth Rs 15 crores.
Previously, ‘Mission Majnu’ star Rashmika Mandanna purchased an apartment in Mumbai so that she could work smoothly in the city. “Rashmika had been doing a lot of back and forth between Mumbai and Hyderabad, to prepare for Mission Majnu and other Bollywood projects. Now she has gotten a place of her own in the city so that her movement becomes swift," a source had earlier told an entertainment website.
Now, Samantha has reportedly done the same.
Meanwhile, on the work front, she is busy shooting for her second Hindi project with Raj and DK, which is the Indian version of ‘Citadel’. The show will feature her alongside Varun Dhawan, and it can be one of the reasons behind her recent move to Mumbai. In addition to this, speculations have also been rife that Samantha is keen to work on Bollywood projects.
