This year has been a great one so far for superstar Shah Rukh Khan. His movies 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' are already blockbusters. SRK is now gearing up for the release of Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The movie is all set to hit the screens on Christmas this year. Also, Prabhas' 'Salaar' is releasing on Christmas. So, both movies will lock horns in theatres. Due to some technical issues, 'Salaar' has been postponed. Earlier it was set to release on September 28. Now, it is releasing on December 22. 'Dunki' has already booked its slot on Christmas on the same date. The release date is yet to be announced.
On Wednesday, Shah Rukh held an #AskSRK session on X platform (formerly known as Twitter), and one of his fans asked him if 'Dunki' will still hit the theatres on Christmas, despite clashing with 'Salaar'. The user asked, "Dunki ki realise date fix hai na? #AskSRK." To which Khan replied, "#Dunki Fixed hi hai. Aur kya karoon Maathe pe gudwa loon!"
Talking about the film, the actor said, “#Dunki is done and very beautiful. A little like life itself!!”
For the unversed, in 2018 Prashanth Neel's 'KGF' clashed with 'Zero' and the latter was a damp squib at the box office.
Talking about 'Dunki', it marks Shah Rukh's first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani. It also stars Taapsee Pannu in a pivotal role. SRK had also confirmed during the success meet of 'Jawan' that the film is arriving in theatres on Christmas.
