'Dunki' Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Shah Rukh Khan's Film Likely To Earn THIS Much On First Day

Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dunki' is all set to hit the screens on December 21. Here's how much it is expected to collect on Day 1 at the box office.

'Dunki' is all set to hit the screens on December 21. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, it stars Shah Rukh Khan as Hardy. Recently, Shah Rukh went to Dubai to promote the film and sent fans into a meltdown with his charm and wit. 'Dunki' is creating all the right buzz and it has also surpassed Prabhas' 'Salaar' in advance booking. It is to be noted that 'Salaar: Part 1-The Ceasefire' is releasing a day later i.e. on December 22. 

Everyone is curious to know the first-day collection of 'Dunki'. We spoke to film distributor, Sameer Dixit to know about the day 1 collection of 'Dunki'. To which he said, ''It will open to Rs 60-70 crore or maybe more. Even, it can have a great opening of Rs 100 crore on the first day. No doubt, Dunki is the real winner''. 

Shah Rukh Khan's film will have its first show at 5:55 am at Mumbai's iconic Gaiety Galaxy. The special screening is being organised by SRK's fan club, SRK Universe, the same club that organised the early morning screenings for both 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan' at the same theatre. 

Reportedly, 'Dunki' has received a standing ovation after it was screened for the censor board in Dubai. 

As per a report in Sacnilk.com, ‘Dunki’ has collected Rs 7.36 crore in opening day collection, while ‘Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire’ collected Rs 6 crore for all languages in advance booking. 

For Rajkumar Hirani's directorial, 2,51,146 tickets have been sold for 9,658 shows across India while 2,46,772 tickets have been sold for 4,338 shows across India for Prashanth Neel's film. It includes Rs 1.11 crore from 35,946 tickets for Hindi shows and Rs 3.5 crore from 1,29,010 tickets for Telugu shows. 

'Dunki' marks SRK's first collaboration with astute filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vikram Kochhar among others.
