Sunny Deol, who has been grabbing all the limelight post the humongous success of his film ‘Gadar 2’, yet again made headlines with his latest video, which is now going viral on social media. In the video, the actor looks like a drunk actor at Juhu Circle in Mumbai as he boards an autorickshaw.
The video has been posted by several users on X, and it was recorded on Tuesday night. It has Sunny walking unsteadily and unable to hold himself in the middle of the road. Soon, an auto driver comes and gives him a lift. Certainly, the social media users were shocked to see the video and asked if the actor was actually drunk. However, the truth is that the actor was not drunk but was shooting for his new film.
Reportedly, the now-viral clip is a scene from his upcoming film 'Safar', which is directed by Shashank Udrapurkar. In it, Sunny Deol is wearing a casual white shirt and jeans as he walks the road with a smile on his face.
It cannot go unnoticed that a couple of months ago, the actor had said in an interview that he doesn't drink, and even wondered how most people tolerate alcohol. "It is bitter, has a foul smell and gives you a headache," Sunny had said at the time.
Meanwhile, the actor, along with his brother Bobby Deol, recently graced the couch on season eight of popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan'. During the course of the second episode, show host Karan Johar shared how Sunny is into Teddy bears. He said, “Who would know that a man who could destroy a country with a hand pump, can actually be into teddy bears.”
As for his career, he is known for his works in films like ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Ghayal’, ‘Damini’, ‘Darr’, ‘Border’ and ‘Tridev’. He featured alongside his brother Bobby Deol in ‘Apne’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ and ‘Poster Boys’. He was last seen in ‘Gadar 2’, the sequel to the 2001 hit ‘Gadar’. In the much-loved sequel, he starred alongside Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma as the three reprised their roles of Tara Singh, Sakeena and Jeete, respectively.
Sunny Deol also has Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Lahore 1947’ in the pipeline. The film is backed by Aamir Khan. He is reportedly also in talks for ‘Border 2’ and sequel to ‘Apne’.
