The makers of  Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming film 'Pathaan' released the first track of the film titled 'Besharam Rang' featuring Deepika Padukone and King Khan on December 12. Ever since it was released, the song embroiled in controversy and faced severe backlash over the colour of actress Deepika's bikini.

On December 15, raising objection over her costume, state home minister Narottam Mishra said, "Actress Deepika Padukone's costume is highly objectionable, and the song has been shot with a dirty mindset. The scenes and costumes of the songs should be changed, or we will have to take a decision on the screening in Madhya Pradesh."

Reacting to this, actor Swara Bhasker took to her Twitter handle to express her reaction on the entire controversy. She dropped the screengrab that states that the BJP-led government in Madhya Pradesh may ban the release of SRK's upcoming film Pathaan's first track. Sharing the picture, Swara Bhasker tweeted, "Miliye humare desh ke sattadhari netaon se. Abhinetriyon ke kapde dekhne se fursat milti to kya pata kuch kar bhi lete."

Pathaan is slated to hit the theatres on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Backed by Aditya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films, it stars SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, apart from Pathaan, King Khan also has two more films lined up in his kitty for next year. Up next, he will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu. Shah Rukh Khan also teamed up with actress Nayanthara for Jawan, which is being helmed by Atlee. While Jawan hit the screens on June 2, Dunki is slated for a December 22 release.
