Actors Taapsee Pannu and Kangana Ranaut had an ugly exchange of words on social media war recently and it went to such an extreme that Kangana’s sister Rangoli called Taapsee the ‘sasti copy' of 'Queen' actress.
Now, In an interview The Lallantop, Taapse, was asked if she will ever talk to Kangana? “I don’t know, honestly. But if there is a situation where she is infront of me, then I will go and say hello. Mujhe thodi problem hai, problem usse hai. So uski marzi.” The actor added, “She is a very good actress and when she said ‘sasti copy’ I took it as a compliment.”
In 2019, Rangoli had tweeted, “Kuch log Kangana ko copy kar ke he apni dukaan chalate hain, magar pls note, they never acknowledge her not even a mention of her name in praising the trailer, last I heard Taapsee ji said Kangana needs a double filter and Tapsee ji you need to stop being a sasti copy.”
Taapsee later stayed silent on the issue. However, she addressed the feud in one of her later interviews and said that Kangana needs a “double filter.”
Taapsee also spoke about the wage disparity in the film industry. She said, “The disparity is beyond the pay. If there is a hero on the sets, then he is not demanding that the heroine should be ready before his call time. But the paraphernalia around it is that the heroine should be ready before the hero arrives on the set.”
