A particular scene of Triptii and Ranbir has been leaked on social media and it has gone viral. Now, she has become the talk of the town for yet another video. Recently, there was a special screening of 'Animal' in Mumbai where the 'Qala' actress was seen staring at Ranbir.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Triptii Dimri opened up about the moment and said that she was very nervous. Her father also noticed it and called her the next day.
She said, “Hum log screening pe the and, puri cast ka shoot karna tha unko (We were at the screening. They wanted to shoot the whole cast). They wanted the whole cast of Animal together. And people were talking. And, he (Ranbir Kapoor) was right in front of me talking to somebody. So, if someone’s talking to someone in front of me, obviously, you will look at that person.”
On her father's reaction after watching the video, Triptii said, ''If you will notice, I was just rubbing my hands. My dad, in fact, called me after watching the whole footage. And he was like, ‘Were you nervous?’. I said, ‘Haan. How did you know?’ He was like, ‘You were rubbing your hands. I know, you rub your hands when you are nervous.'... So, I was really nervous.''
She added, ''And especially, when you are standing with people like Ranbir, you are bound to get nervous, right? And I think he was standing in front of me, talking to somebody and you don’t even realise in that moment, where you are looking, what you are looking at.”
In Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial, Tripti plays the role of Zoya with whom Ranbir Kapoor’s character Rannvijay has an extramarital affair. Later, he discovers that she’s a mole. Post the film, she became the 'National Crush' of India. 'Animal' that released in theatres on December 1 also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
