TV actor Sheezan Khan has been arrested after late actress Tunisha Sharma's mother filed a complaint, claiming that they both were in a relationship and she took this extreme step because of him. A Mumbai court has sent him to police custody for four days.
On December 24, Tunisha was reportedly found hanging on the sets of the TV show at Mumbai’s Vasai, and it was believed that she had committed suicide. It is said that the actress had wanted to get married to Sheezan and he refused, which led to their breakup.
Now in a video message released on social media, her mother has accused her 'Alibaba: Dastaan-e-Kabul' co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan of "cheating" and "using" her daughter.
Blaming Sheezan for her 20-year-old daughter's mental stress and depression, Vanita Sharma, Tunisha's mother, alleged, "Despite being involved with another woman, he continued a relationship with Tunisha. He used her for three-four months. I just want to say that Sheezan should be punished, he should not be spared. I have lost my child."
Earlier, Tunisha's uncle, Pawan Sharma, had alleged to the media that the actor was involved with several other women.
Sheezan, who started his acting career in 2013 with the historical drama "Jodha Akbar’ starring Hrithik Roshan, is currently seen in the role of Alibaba in ‘Alibaba - Dastaan-e-Kaabul’. Tunisha was his co-star and female lead of the show, and they were apparently in a relationship, but broke up 15 days ago due to which Tunisha was in depression and was highly disturbed.
