Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni Konidela are soon going to be parents and Upasana recently shared a glimpse from what appears to be her maternity suite. She tagged Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad in the post and wrote, “Something very special coming soon.”
In an earlier interview with The Times of India, Upasana had shared details about the baby’s nursery and said that she wants the child to grow up with “bits of us” but “without putting too much influence.” She shared that she, along with Ram, made a list of things that they love and gave it to a designer who then created an “interesting wallpaper that speaks about the Amrabad Tiger Reserve, the biggest in India. We both love wildlife, and my foundation works with the reserve.”
She also spoke about the baby’s crib and said, “Hyderabad has a charity with the largest number of HIV+ women under one roof. These girls there have been trafficked since they were two, and they came together and made us a beautiful crib which I am really excited to use.”
She added, “Even the fabrics we chose are organic, there was a thought behind the motifs on them. I wanted everything to have a meaning and a story.” While she spoke about all the things that she is organising before the baby’s arrival, Upasana noted that it is “not about everything money can buy.”
