Vicky Kaushal, in a recent chat, was asked about his connection with his wife Katrina Kaif and he said that, “It’s going very well. I think we connect on a human level more than anything else. Emotions are universal, so when you find that person when you feel that you can genuinely be your true self, then nothing else matters.”

This video received a lot of love from fans. One of them wrote, “Just cast them together. Hoping this happens in JLZ (Jee Le Zara),” another person wrote, “I still can’t imagine them as a pair like what do they even talk about. They are so different personality wise 😅.”

Katrina and Vicky tied the knot in December 2021 after dating for a few years. However, the couple was tight-lipped about their romance before they got married.

In an interview with ABP, he also recalled the time when Katrina made a special effort and learnt a Punjabi song to impress him, even though she isn’t well-versed in the language. Vicky shared that Katrina thought of the song to be a romantic number but did not realise that it was a song about guns and violence.

Vicky shared that Katrina has learnt a few phrases in Punjabi. he said, “She speaks a little bit of Punjabi now. If you ask her, ‘Ki haal chaal? (How are you?),’ she says, ‘Vadhiya hai (I am fine).’ Some time back she learnt a Punjabi song. With me, it comes naturally to me. I listen to a lot of Punjabi songs, I don’t understand other songs, I don’t understand English songs.”

Revealing Katrina’s goof up, he shared, “I don’t remember which song she sang but this one song she learnt, she thought it was a romantic song and wanted to sing that to me. But the actual meaning of the song was ‘mere se panga loge, toh main goli maar dunga (if you cross me, I’ll shoot you). I said, I’m finding this romantic, but please don’t sing this song in front of anyone else.”
