Vijay Varma On His Journey As An Actor: There Is a Sense of Relief That Years Of Hard Work Has Paid Off

Vijay Varma feels a sense of relief as his years of hard work has paid off. He feels on top of the world now that people are recognising his work. Varma is playing a cop in the upcoming film, 'Kaalkoot'.

Hard work has paid off for actor Vijay Varma. Over the years, he has grown up to be a phenomenal actor. Today, he is the cynosure of all eyes. Within a very short span, Vijay has managed to make heads turn with his stellar performances. Since 'Gully Boy' in 2019, he has grabbed everyone's attention and has earned plaudits for his work in 'Mirzapur', 'Darlings', 'Dahaad', and recently released, 'Lust Stories 2'. 

In the above-mentioned shows, Vijay was either seen in a dark or a grey character. But now he will be seen in a role that the audience has been expecting. 'Kaalkoot', the upcoming film will see Varma in the role of a cop. He told Outlook, "It's finally a relief to be on the good side. I have been chased around by cops and now finally, I am the cop who is chasing criminals. It's a good circle that way and I feel that I have come to my own self. I ventured into the wild with these evil characters that I have played. It was fun when I was doing it".

Vijay has tasted fame with his terrific acting in all the projects he has done so far. Today, he is in the position where he deserves to be. He has become a household name now. "There is a sense of relief that 'itni saal ki mehnat rang layi'. I pretty much feel on top of the world because it's a really good time for me. My work is speaking the most and that's how I like that my work is doing enough talking. I will always try to do my best," said the actor. 

The 37-year-old has now become the 'king' of OTT. When asked if he misses being seen on the big screens, he replied, "I feel very comfortable having an audience. I am there where the audience is. If you say I will get an audience in a particular theatre, I will go there. I was craving for audience for all these years and now that I have it, I am very happy where my audience is be it theatre or OTT."
