With the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, many celebrities have been invited to grace the occasion. One of these celebrities is director Vivek Agnihotri. However, ‘The Kashmir Files’ director revealed that he will not be attending the ceremony. He took to his social media to explain why he wouldn’t make it to the event despite having an invitation.
Taking to his X (formerly, Twitter) account, Vivek Agnihotri shared the invitation that he had received for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. He shared the golden and red invitation that was addressed to him. Sharing the pictures, he thanked Yogi Adityanath for inviting him. He wrote, “I was pleasantly surprised to receive many follow up calls from the office of CM @myogiadityanath Ji. The lady asked me travel details in an extremely warm but professional manner. Mighty impressed with the way technology is used to ensure a comfortable and safe visit for all.”
However in the next line, he revealed that he would not be able to attend the ceremony. He did not reveal the exact reason but he mentioned that he will not be in India on that day. He added, “It’s unfortunate that I am not being able to attend #PranPratishtha as I am not in Bharat on 22nd Jan for some inevitable reason and only Ram ji knows how sad I am.”

Reacting to his post, one user said, “You are so fortunate that you got this invitation.” Another user wrote, “Please don't share the pass id and QR code. It can cause security issues.” A third user commented, “Sir, with respect, if you are not going, can you share this invitation with one of the devotees?”
Ram Mandir will be inaugurated in Ayodhya on Monday. Celebs like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Kangana Ranaut, and Jackie Shroff have been invited to the event.
