Hollywood celebrity couple Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, along with their children Dylan and Carys, have been travelling across South and East of India. The family, all together, rang in the New Year in Hyderabad, and even shared a video for their fans.

In the video, the couple is seen standing on what seemed like a terrace balcony of a hotel, with singer AP Dhillon’s chartbuster ‘With You’ playing in the background. In the video, Michael said, “Happy New Year everyone. We are in Hyderabad, India. Have a great, great 2024. Lots of love.” The couple followed the message with a sweet kiss. The video was captioned as, “Happy New Year everybody! Have a great, great 2024! Lots of love, M & C.”

Catherine too posted a video from the same venue with Michael and wished “Happy New Year” to everyone.

Before Hyderabad, the Douglas family travelled through Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and have been sharing details from their travel diaries on social media accounts. From spending time shopping in Hyderabad to having food near the coast of Bay of Bengal, the celebrity couple is having a gala time. In November, Michael was honoured with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Film Festival of India in Goa.

During the press meet, Catherine had revealed how she shared a special connection with India. She said, “The story I’ve never told before is that India has touched me in a very serious personal way. It was an Indian doctor who saved my life with a tracheotomy when I was 18 months old. I wonder why when I come to India, I have this feeling of coming home, and maybe it has something to do with that. The reason I’m here is because of the brilliance of an Indian doctor in the UK.”
