Toyota’s hot-selling people mover, the Innova Crysta, has received an update for 2019. The top-spec ZX and ZX AT variant of the Innova Crysta get a new, lighter ‘Ivory’ leather upholstery option with ‘Crysta’ embossing besides the existing tan leather one. A heat rejection window glass as well as a USB fast charging port are also available on the Innova Crysta’s VX, ZX and the Touring Sport variants powered by diesel engines.
This has led to a price hike that ranges between Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,000, depending on the variant. Interestingly, the prices of petrol variants have also been increased despite no feature additions. Here’s a look at the updated prices.
The 2019 Toyota Innova Crysta remains mechanically unchanged and continues to get a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine (150PS/343Nm) with a 5-speed MT as standard whereas the bigger 2.8-litre engine (174PS/360Nm) comes mated to a 6-speed AT. A 2.7-litre petrol option is also on offer. This engine churns out 166PS of power and 245Nm of torque and is available with either a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
