- Bajaj’s combi-braking system is called anti-skid braking.
- The Discover 110 is the first Bajaj product with this tech.
- Nominal hike of Rs 564 over standard bike.
We have seen Bajaj Auto fortifying its products with the addition of ABS as a safety net. However, that was the case for its motorcycles above 125cc. The others needed CBS to meet the April 1 deadline. So, Bajaj has done just that and it has begun with the baby Discover. The Discover 110 now gets Anti-Skid Braking system, which is Bajaj’s terminology for Combi-Brake System (CBS).
There are no new mechanical changes reported on the motorcycle. It continues to be powered by a 115.45cc single-cylinder motor which makes a modest 8.6PS of power and 9.81Nm of torque. The standard bike carried a price tag of Rs 52,710 while the one with the safety net is priced at Rs 53,274. This is a nominal hike of just Rs 564. All prices, ex-showroom Pune.
Dealers have started accepting bookings for the same for a token amount of Rs 1000. Deliveries are expected to begin in the next 10-15 days. The pricing for the Discover 110 ASB is on-par with its fellow 110cc rivals like the TVS Victor 110, Honda CD110 Dream DX CBS and Hero Passion Pro 110 Drum.
