The Mahindra Marazzo MPV was launched over three months ago in four variants - M2, M4, M6 and M8. Until now, the top-spec M8 variant was only available with the 7-seat layout. Mahindra has now introduced the Marazzo M8 with eight seats (2+3+3) and it costs an extra Rs 8,000 over the 7-seat (2+2+3) option.

All other Marazzo variants can be had with either seven or eight seats. The 8-seater Marazzo commands a premium of Rs 5,000 over the 7-seater version on all variants apart from M8, where the incremental price for the bench row in the middle is Rs 8,000.

Mahindra has packed the M8 variant of the Marazzo with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display with onboard navigation as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility along with voice commands. It also gets automatic climate control, cruise control, power folding ORVMs, leatherette seat upholstery and two USB ports in the front console. The M8 also gets LED daytime running lights and larger 17-inch alloys over and above the features available on the M6 variant.

The standard safety features on the Marazzo include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts and disc brakes on all wheels. The Marazzo M8 also gets a rear camera with rear parking sensors. It also gets front and rear fog-lamps in the higher variants. The Marazzo was previously priced between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 13.9 lakh (ex-showroom, India) but the updated prices for 2019, which would include a hike of up to Rs 40,000, have not been announced yet.
