Launched at the 2018 Auto Expo, the third-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift AMT (automated manual transmission) can now be had with the range-topping Z+ variant. Earlier, the AMT, or AGS (Auto Gear Shift) as Maruti’s likes to call it, was only available with the V and Z variant. Like the existing AMT variants, the top-spec ZXI+/ZDI+ AGS attracts a premium of around Rs 47,000 over the equivalent manual variant.
With the introduction of Z+ AGS variants, customers opting for the AMT will no longer need to skimp on goodies such as a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, LED projector headlamps with daytime running lamps, machine-finished alloy wheels and rear camera with sensors.
