One of the most talked about litstars at Frankfurt was unfortunately not invited as part of the cumbersome Indian team that attended the fair. But Baby Haldhar, the domestic worker who penned her own memoir—now out in translation as A Life Less Ordinary—will get her chance at the Jaipur litfest this January, where she will share the stage with the likes of Kiran Desai, Salman Rushdie, Suketu Mehta, Amit Chaudhury and William Dalrymple.
