In early 2014, into his sixth semester of mechanical engineering at IIT Kharagpur, Harshit Shrivastava took a sabbatical to explore a business plan. His start-up, Intugine, will soon roll out ‘Nimble’, a device that can control a computer or any electronic gadget from five metres away by using a USB sensor. Started with the prize money from a TiE international business plan competition, Intugine raised $1,00,000 last year, mostly from four angel investors. Harshit and his partners are pitching Nimble as a tool to aid in education and child development.
