  • H1-B visa cap for next 3 yrs raised to 1,95,000 per year
  • Freedom to change jobs immediately after filing for H1 transfer
  • Freedom to change jobs six months after filing for I-485 without affecting the green card process
  • Freedom to stay beyond six years and continue to work on H1 status if you have a green card application pending for a year
  • Removal of per country limits for employment-based immigration visas. Till now there was a limit of 10,000 per year per country (including family members)
