Canadian rapper Drake is reportedly getting ready for the upcoming release of his eighth studio album, titled For All the Dogs. The eagerly awaited release might happen as soon as today. Rapper Rich Flex revealed the project in late June this year.
Here all  you may need to know about  this highly anticipated album.
After releasing Her Loss, his collaborative album with 21 Savage, in November, Drake hinted at the making of a new album on January 21 while performing at New York City.
At the show, he expressed, "I've thought about a bunch of things in life, but at this moment in time, none of those things are stopping making music for you, so I'll be here for you for a little bit at least,"
"I hope I can strike up some more emotions for you — maybe this year, I might get bored and make another one, who knows?" he added.
After unveiling the June 24 release of his first poetry collection, Titles Ruin Everything, Drake announced the release of For All the Dogs just hours later. The 36-year-old superstar promoted his poetry collection by purchasing full-page ads in prestigious periodicals including the New York Post and Los Angeles Times. The website titlesruineverything.com, where he revealed information about his upcoming album was accessible through a QR code in these newspaper advertisements.
Drake has remained largely silent on the release of his albums since its announcement. Instead, on his Instagram stories, he usually posted pictures of dogs and dog-related stuff. Notably, he was seen out and about in New York City sporting a variety of dog masks, including a bulldog mask.
On July 8, Drake announced to the Detroit crowd that For All the Dogs would have a tune with his longtime friend and collaborator, Nicki Minaj. Additionally, Travis Scott, his  close friend, is rumored to be a guest on the album.
Drake also revealed that For All the Dogs is being mixed by Noah Shebib, a well-known music producer who is responsible for several of the rapper's biggest singles.
Drake on Monday unveiled the For All the Dogs album image artwork on Instagram. With the phrase "FOR ALL THE DOGS," he proudly revealed that his five-year-old son Adonis created the artwork.
The tweet from Amazon Music that initially purported to announce that For All the Dogs would be released on Friday, August 25, has subsequently been taken down. However, fans still have hopes that the album might drop today!
