The volatility in the global cryptocurrency market continued on Wednesday as the market cap fell 1.32 per cent to $1.15 trillion, while the trading volume surged 23.21 per cent to $31.96 billion. CyberConnect (CYBER) was the most trending cryptocurrency for a second consecutive day, up by 164.30 per cent to $4.77. Its 24-hour trading volume was $52.6 million.
Sei (SEI) was the top gainer, up by a whopping 2,658.57 per cent to $0.2204 in the last 24 hours. The trading volume was $1.15 billion. On the other hand, Hedera (HBAR) was the top loser, down 15.58 per cent to $0.06242 in the last 24 hours. The trading volume was $312 million.
DeFi fell 9.00 per cent to $2.88 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.60 per cent to $29,148.23. Its 24-hour trading volume was $13.3 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was at 49.09 per cent, up by 0.34 per cent over the last 24 hours.
Ethereum: Ethereum was down by 0.95 per cent to $1,822.52 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.7 billion.
Tether: Tether was up by 0.00 per cent to $0.9987 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $23 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana (SOL) was down by 5.97 per cent to $23.45. Its 24-hour trading volume was $430 million.
Avalanche was trading at $11.72, down 4.57 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $111 million.
