Founded by Sardar Jodh Singh, JIS Group stands as one of India's largest and most respected educational conglomerates. With 39 institutes offering 145 programs to over 45,000 students, the group has become synonymous with quality education and academic excellence. Accredited by various government bodies and affiliated with esteemed universities, JIS Group has garnered numerous awards and accolades, continually setting high standards in engineering education.

In the current era of dynamic globalization, JIS Group plays a critical role in addressing the shortage of technical resources by producing well-rounded engineers. The group’s commitment to academic brilliance and professional excellence makes it a popular choice among students, educators, and parents. This dedication is evident in its comprehensive approach to shaping the engineers of tomorrow.

One of the pivotal events in the JIS Group's calendar is the e-Counselling session, which facilitates admissions into various engineering courses offered by institutions across the state. This year, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024 results were announced on June 6 by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). Out of 1,13,492 candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,12,963 successfully passed, achieving an impressive 99.53 percent success rate. The e-Counselling process commenced on July 10, allowing qualified candidates to apply for their desired colleges.

The e-Counselling session consists of multiple stages, ensuring a smooth and transparent admission process. The first step is registration, where candidates must register online on the WBJEEB website, pay the requisite fees, and provide necessary personal and academic information. This creates their profiles for counselling.

Following registration, candidates move on to the Choice Filling stage, where they select their preferred courses and colleges. A Mock Allotment is then displayed, helping candidates understand potential seat allocations based on their choices. This step allows for the Modification of Options, enabling candidates to adjust their preferences to optimize their chances of favorable seat allocation.

The final stages include the Release of Seat Allotment results, which are announced on the WBJEEB website. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats must then pay the Seat Acceptance Fee and report to the allotted institution for document verification and completion of admission formalities.

JIS Group’s e-Counselling session is a testament to its dedication to academic excellence and student success. By providing a structured and efficient admission process, JIS Group continues to support aspiring engineers in achieving their academic and professional goals. This commitment not only addresses the technical resource shortage but also contributes significantly to the development of the engineering sector in India.
