India's National Center for Seismology (NCS) confirmed that an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude on the Richter Scale jolted Afghanistan on Tuesday morning. No casualty has been reported so far.
According to NCS, the 5.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred on Tuesday morning originated 120 km below the surface and at latitude 36.33 and longitude 70.70.
This one came after October's 6.3 magnitude earthquake which killed dozens of people in western Afghanistan, the country’s national disaster authority said.
