Around 60 enthusiasts participated in a re-enactment of the Battle of Hattin, fought in 1187, near the extinct volcano “Horns of Hattin” in northern Israel. Sultan Saladin defeated the Crusaders of Jerusalem in the famous battle which paved way for Saladin’s conquer of the Holy Land of Jerusalem.
