Ice Fishing Festival Returns To South Korea After Two Years

Revelers are competing in a famous ice fishing festival in Hwacheon, South Korea. The festival has returned this year after two years of suspension because of Covid-19 pandemic. It will run for 23 days and conclude on January 29. The fishing contest involves making holes on a frozen river's surfaces and catching fish barehanded. Other events such as sledding and ice football are also held.
