Tomorrow X Together (TXT), HYBE Corporation's second all-boy act, will create musical history as the first K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza 2023. The Gen-Z superstar promises an explosive repertoire, including a special appearance by Coi Leray.
Tomorrow X Together (TXT) made headlines last year for being the first K-pop group to perform at Lollapalooza. They're back in the news this year, but as the first of their sort to hold a headliner spot. They are following in the footsteps of their senior, J-Hope, who stunned audiences with his 2022 act. The set list includes the quintet's biggest hits, including the summer smash Do It Like That, which features the Jonas Brothers.
The much-anticipated performance will take place on the Bud Light Stage in Chicago on August 5th, and the official streaming will be done by Hulu. According to reports, the playlist has been meticulously designed around the themes of 'youth' and 'rock' - an excellent canvas for the quintet's signature style. A live band will be playing alongside them. Also on the agenda: Coi Leray, a rapper and vocalist, performs Happy Fools. Needless to say, this act is going to be spectacular.
The band has mostly sold out performances, released three studio albums, and embarked on a 16-city global tour. With their aptly titled track “Crown” and Extended Play “The Dream Chapter:Star”, they topped the Billboard World Albums and World Digital Song Sales charts.
Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers are among the other headliners for Lollapalooza 2023. Meanwhile, Carly Rae Jepsen and Portugal will perform at afterparties throughout the city. The Man, as well as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The music festival, which is one of the most recognised in the world, began in 1991 and has a reputation for attracting the best names in the industry. It has now spread to a few nations throughout the world, including Brazil, Argentina, France, India, and Sweden.
