Love Island USA comes to an end with Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli winning the American reality dating show

The latest season of the intricately complex dating show, ‘Love Island USA’ comes to an end on Peacock. The fifth season saw Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli being chosen as winners of the American version of the show.
There have been arguments about Hannah and Marco winning but fans have pointed out that the couple genuinely liked each other at least. However, since the winners are announced through voting, nothing could be done to change the results. Kassandra Castillo and Leonardo Dionicio were in second place while Carsten Bergersen and Taylor Smith came in third.
Previously telecasted on CBS, the show moved to Peacock and picked up Sarah Hyland as the show host. Said to be one of the most complicated American shows, ‘Love Island’ provides the thrill of watching 30 random people coming together after rigid selection processes to forcefully fall in love with either their own chosen partner or according to what the host says. All this and more is done by the participants for a chance to win $100,000.
With a series of adventure activities, discussions and interesting fights, the show has garnered a lot of attention, especially among youngsters.
However, this season is said to be a little too boring for many – largely due to the tiring romance of Carmen Kocourek and Kenzo Nudo. The couple were so much in love that they forgot to add some drama to it which was why people were watching the show in the first place.
For people who might not have watched ‘Love Island’, the reality dating show takes a few people to a secluded place, usually an island in order to survive each week as they have to couple up with another person. This coupling could either happen for the sake of winning the show or for genuine love, which has happened quite many times in earlier seasons.
The show also features different adventurous and fun challenges and prizes that are earned with every passing stage of the show. Couples are simultaneously dumped and eliminated while paving the way for the finalists to take their chance to win the show.
