A devastating plane crash in Murrieta, California, resulted in the loss of six lives as the aircraft plummeted into a Southern California field, erupting into flames. The incident occurred near an airport in Murrieta, a city situated in southwest Riverside County, between Los Angeles and San Diego.
The ill-fated flight had originated from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas before tragically crashing into the field. The plane, identified as a Cessna C550 business jet, was engulfed in flames along with approximately one acre of surrounding vegetation when authorities arrived at the scene.
First responders from the Riverside County Fire Department confirmed that all six occupants of the aircraft were pronounced dead at the crash site shortly after the discovery of the burning plane at around 4:15 a.m. As of now, the identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
