Streamy Awards 2023 on Sunday night, saw MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, emerge as the prominent winner.

MrBeast, secured winin two out of his five nominations at the 2023 Streamy Awards. He clinched the titles of "Creator of the Year" and "Collaboration" for his unique rock, paper, scissors video featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, where the humorous twist was "Surprised he didn't choose rock every single time."

Streamy honors creators across a diverse range of fields including beauty, comedy, food, gaming, music, podcasts, sports, and more. The event was marked with  impressive performances by Icona Pop and Armani White. The event also featured appearances by Shea Couleé, a star from RuPaul's Drag Race. Presenters included Mulvaney, Olsen, Khare, Anna Sitar, Brianna Chickenfry, Colin and Samir, Delaney Rowe, Dream, Drew Afualo, Druski, Happy Kelli, Kris Collins, and Lizzy McAlpine.

Kai Cenat emerged as the recipient of the Streamer of the Year award, while the title of Show of the Year was bestowed upon Michelle Khare's captivating series "Challenge Accepted." Taking home the prestigious International Prize was the renowned Spanish content creator, Ibai. The award for Short Form Winner was claimed by Chris Olsen.

Additional notable individuals who emerged victorious this year include the Jonas Brothers, winning in the crossover classification; Logan Paul, securing the creator product award; Jay Shetty, recognized for his On Purpose podcast; along with TikToker Dylan Mulvaney, a prominent transgender influencer who became entangled in a dispute subsequent to her participation in a Bud Light social media campaign, ultimately seizing the breakout creator honor.

Furthermore, the Barbie's summer persisted, with the Mattel doll maintaining its position as the brand of the year. The Barbie movie, in the meantime, continues its unprecedented run of success at the box office.

Meghan Trainor's track "Made You Look" secured the Streamys' Rolling Stone collaboration award. This prestigious recognition, known as the Sound of the Year, highlights songs that have wielded significant influence in the world of social media content creation and have resonated deeply within popular culture.

In the meantime, noteworthy awards known as the Creator Honor distinctions were bestowed upon The Korean Vegan, Brittany Broski, and Vivienne Medrano.

The thirteenth iteration of the awards ceremony was led by the host MatPat, the creator of Game Theorists. The event was broadcasted in real-time on the Streamys' social platforms.
