America's famous football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, Kyler Cole Murray, turned 26 on August 07, 2023. The football player suffered a massive knee injury back in December. The Cardinals faced a rough season in 2022 when they went 4-13 and ended the campaign with the third-worst record in the National Football League (NFL). Cardinals have decided to keep Murray away from the pitch to avoid any further escalation of his injury.
It is expected that Murray will be back on the field in September. However, nothing specified in the matter has been said to date. Murray, who is eager to step on the field as early as he can, completed his first year in the NFL in 2019 with an amazing total of 3,722 passing yards and 20 touchdowns. As a result, Murray was crowned as 'NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.'
What do the Arizona Cardinals think about Murray's recovery?
The Cardinals, on the other hand, don't want to risk Murray's recovery. Hence, they are taking every precaution and focusing on Kyler's long-term health above anything else. However, Kyler wants to prove his worth and the $230.5 million, five-season contract deal, which was signed by him last off-season.
As per Murray's manager, he is giving his all during rehab. The player had to go through a reconstructive knee surgery after which he was sent to rehab. The Cardinals manager, Ossenfort said that they wish to see him play once again however, a proper recovery is needed.
