Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Jeezy are seperating after two and a half years of marriage. According to reports , the rapper filed for divorce on September 14 in Atlanta, stating that their marriage is "irretrievably broken" with "no hope for reconciliation."

Here's a look at the timeline of their relationship through the years:

November 2018:
In November 2018, the couple met on the set of The Real and embarked on their first date later that month. The two continued to date privately.

August 2019:
Jeezy and Mai Jenkins made their first public appearance as a pair when they attended Atlanta's inaugural SnoBall Gala. Mai Jenkins came out in support of the Grammy nominee, who was hosting the event to raise money for his non-profit, Street Dreamz.

November 2019:
Jeezy and Mai Jenkins have a lot to be thankful for as a pair on Thanksgiving.It was also her first meeting with part of Jeezy's relatives.Mai Jenkins even got a special gift from her boyfriend's aunt.

March 27, 2020: 
Jeezy's proposal preparations were thwarted when the world went into lockdown as the COVID-19 outbreak began. But the rapper was undeterred, and instead proposed during a special date night at his Los Angeles home.

March 27, 2021:
Jeezy and Mai Jenkins married husband and wife a year after they announced their engagement. The "mini-mony," as Mai Jenkins dubbed it, was conducted in front of family and friends at their Atlanta home. Due to COVID-19 constraints, the ceremony was much smaller than intended, but the couple didn't want to wait any longer to tie the knot.

April 2021: 
Mai proudly shared the news with her The Real co-hosts after formally adopting Jeezy's last name.

September 20, 2021:
Mai Jenkins revealed that their family would be growing a few months after they married. The DWTS alum made the announcement on The Real. She also revealed that the couple became pregnant a month before their wedding but miscarried.

January 11, 2022:
Mai Jenkins shared a photo of a baby blanket with a 'Jenkins' nametag on Instagram to mark the arrival of the newest member of the family. Later she revealed the gender of the baby as she gave birth to a baby girl.

May 2022:
Mai Jenkins surprised her husband with a trip to Vietnam to commemorate their two years of marriage.

September 14, 2023:
Jeezy filed for divorce from Mai Jenkins in Atlanta after two and a half years of marriage. The reports mention  that the rapper wants to share joint legal custody of their kid
