Just as he is enjoying the music, he gets a call from the ‘Stones phone’, something one can identify as it bears the band's recognisable insignia. During this call, The Tonight Show host is given the details in a muffled voice pertaining to the band's planned livestream concert.
Taking the excitement surrounding the announcement a notch up, on Wednesday, the band’s current members, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ron Wood will be interviewed by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon at a gathering in the East London neighbourhood of Hackney. One can see the event live on The Rolling Stones' YouTube channel.
According to a statement released by The Rolling Stones, "Hackney Diamonds may have Hackney at its core, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube”.
