A terrifying video of two men recording a podcast at a coffee shop when a car comes crashing through the window behind them has been doing rounds on social media platforms on Tuesday. The incident happened on March 5, according to Fox26, when Alexsey Reyes and Nathan Reeves were wrapping up filming a podcast, sitting at a coffee shop in Houston, Texas. One of them is heard saying, “It got so quiet in here.” Seconds later, they were almost hit by a car.
Retweeted more than 15,000 times, the video captured the hair-raising moment when an SUV on the road behind them suddenly loses control as it turns, and rams against the glass, directly into them. The window shatters completely but the podcasters, luckily, walk away with minor injuries.
Moments later, Reeves comes back to the camera and says, ''I think we're fine, I think we got all the audio on there.'' The duo is then seen talking to the police who arrive later, the video goes on to show.
The video has received more than 13 million views so far.
"For me, I feel like I went into instant shock," Alexsey Reyes told Fox26. "He (Reeves) had some scratches initially with glass. I found shards on my arms and hair later."
"You can see in the video, I think the black SUV runs a red light and another car, it like sideswipes it, and then it just decides to turn straight into us," Nathan Reeves told the media channel. "The table was like sealed into the ground so if that car went any further, I don’t even like to think about that part," he said.
