Sounds promising, doesn't it? Especially when you hear that it's these young, smart people who could very well be leading their country in all areas of society, including politics. Thing is though, they're not actually doing anything about it. A cnn-ibn poll conducted in 19 states and with about 15,000 respondents found that while two-thirds were aware of the social and political issues, the same weren't actually doing anything about it. Now I know that 15,000 out of about a billion isn't necessarily a true representation but it certainly gives one food for thought since over 2,500 polled were under 25. But I won't put the blame solely on them. After all, they're only just beginning to recognise their voice, let alone know that they have one.
