Jammu and Kashmir on Monday registered eight fresh Covid-19 cases that pushed its infection tally to 4,79,084, officials here said.
No fresh fatalities due to the viral disease were reported. The death toll stands at 4,785, they said.
Of the fresh cases, one was reported from the Jammu division and seven from the Kashmir valley, the officials said.
There are 144 active Covid-19 cases in the union territory. So far, 4,74,155 people have recovered from the disease, they said.
