AAP's Face In J&K Resigns From Party Following Lack Of Policy And Vision

AAP's face in Jammu and Kashmir, Harshdev Singh, chairman of the coordination committee of AAP, has resigned from the party along with his supporters. 

Mr Singh, a former minister of the earlier state of Jammu and Kashmir, merged his party, National Panthers Party with AAP last year in May. The move was seen as a major boost to the Arvind Kejriwal party. 

However, declaring his resignation, Singh has now said that the party lacks a common vision for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and he was not satisfied with the work. 

"AAP has no policy for Jammu and Kashmir. It has no concern for the people. I was not satisfied. So decided to quit," said Harshdev Singh, as reported by NDTV. 

Singh has been a three-time MLA from the state's Udhampur district and he said that he would be willing to form a coalition with other party members who are willing to work towards the common goal of restoring the statehood and ensure constitutional guarantee for protecting the lands and jobs of the people. 

Singh showed interest in forming an alliance with former BJP leader, Lal Singh, another Jammu-based leader and former minister.
