After Ladli Laxmi Yojna-2, Now Ladli Bahna Yojna Will Start: Madhya Pradesh CM Shri Chouhan Makes Big Announcement for Women

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Narmada Jayanti and Narmadapuram's pride day that like Ladli Laxmi Yojana, now Ladli Bahna Yojana will be started in the state. Under the scheme, poor sisters of all classes will get one thousand rupees per month and if they are getting the benefits of other schemes, they will continue to get the same. An estimated 60 thousand crore rupees will be spent on the scheme in 5 years. He said that Ladli Bahna Yojana will improve the lives of the sisters of the state. The Chief Minister said that I have to empower my sisters financially. If the sisters are strong then the family will be strong, if the family is strong then the society will be strong, if the society is strong then the state will be strong.

What pledges were taken?

  • Every year the state government will give 12 thousand rupees to women. An estimated 60 thousand crore rupees will be spent on the scheme in 5 years.
  • Narmadapuram Lok will be made like Sri Mahakal Lok. Narmada Corridor will also be built
  • Pledge for Sapling plantation, save girl child, educate girl child, de-addiction and cleanliness
  • Inauguration and Bhumi-Pujan of development works

Participated in Narmadapuram's pride day on Narmada Jayanti. He with his wife worshiped Narmada Maiya at Narmada Ghat according to the rules and regulations. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced to make Narmadapuram Lok and Narmada Corridor on the lines of Shri Mahakal Lok while gifting many development works to the district on Gaurav Divas. He said that no stone will be left unturned for the development of Narmadapuram. A modern bus stand will also be built here.

On Narmada Jayanti and Gaurav Divas, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed virtual bhoomi-pujan and inaugurated development works from Jal Manch. In this, mainly the inauguration of the new commissioner Narmadapuram's building built at a cost of Rs. 11 crore 26 lakh, upgradation of Ramlila Maidan at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 97 lakh, Chief Minister's infrastructure and various development works at a cost of Rs. 2 crore and auditorium of the city costing Rs. 5 crore 53 lakhs.

The function was also addressed by MP Shri Rao Udaypratap Singh and MLA Shri Sitasaran Sharma. People's representatives and a large number of citizens were present along with District Incharge and Mineral Resources Minister Shri Brajendra Pratap Singh.
