Army Holds Cycling, Marathon Event For Republic Day

To commemorate the 74th Republic Day, the Madras Regimental Centre (MRC) at Wellington Station on Saturday organised an event  'Enduro 2023.'
             
The theme of the event, held under the aegis of headquarter in Dakshina Bharat area, was 'Challenge Your Limits- Rediscover Yourself' which included 20 km of cycling and a 10 km run.
             
The event, highlighting the 74th Republic Day, was inaugurated by the Commandant of MRC Brigadier Sunil Kumar Yadav at Shrinagesh Barracks.
             
The route covered Wellington and Coonoor for over 30 km across the Nilgiris district.
        
There were 75 participants. The winners were given prizes and certificates, said an official press release in Udhagamandalam.
