Atal Ji Made India A Nuclear Superpower And Broke The Pride Of America: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister

Speaking at the ‘Gwalior Gaurav Diwas’ function to mark the late statesman’s 98th birth anniversary, MP CM Chouhan said Atal ji was Ajatshatru by adding he made India a nuclear superpower and broke the pride of America.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not only instrumental in installing portrait of the new Bharat but had also made India a nuclear superpower and broke the pride of America.

Speaking at the ‘Gwalior Gaurav Diwas’ function to mark the late statesman’s 98th birth anniversary, Chouhan said Atal ji was Ajatshatru by adding he made India a nuclear superpower and broke the pride of America.

Former Prime Minister’s focus on development and his government policies were also prominently mentioned by Chief Minister in his address.

Chouhan told the gathering that a grand memorial will be built in Gwalior in Atal ji's memory. An e-library and research center will be set up in the memorial using audio-visual medium to highlight Atal ji's biography, works and personality.

Work in regard will start soon he announced.

Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Narendra Singh Tomar stated Atal Bihari Vajpayee to be one of the great leader that the world has ever seen. We are all proud of his work, leadership and personality, he added. Tomar thanked Chief Minister for starting the scheme of organizing the pride day of every city and every village in the entire state.

Speaking at the function, Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that coming generations will remember former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the several development works undertaken and completed during his government’s tenure.

Chief Minister sarod playing by renowned sarod maestros Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Aman Ali Khan, Ayan Ali Khan and songs by renowned singer Ms. Anuradha Podwal.

The nation celebrates Good Governance Day on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave Gwalior Gaurav Samman to Ustad Amjad Ali Khan (Sarod player) for Music, Dr. V.K. Saraswat (Defence Scientist) for Science, Dr. Jamal Yusuf (Cardiologist) for Medicine, Ms. Ishika Chowdhary (International Hockey Player) for Sports and Shri O.P. Dixit (Educationist) for education. Dr. Hariom Panwar, the well-known poet of Veer Ras, was given the Atal Kavi Samman.

Water Resources, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Minister Tulsiram Silavat, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Minister of State for Horticulture and Food Processing (Independent Charge) Bharat Singh Kushwaha, MP V.D. Sharma, Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar were present at the function.
