Those who used to abuse, are now doing the saashtaang pranaam, they are bowing down. This is their compulsion."

Adding to the PM reportedly said, "It’s clear from their nervousness that the public has made up its mind to bring the BJP government in the 2024 elections. That’s why these parties are freaking out, and have decided they will mislead the public before the elections, level false allegations and gain power.”

PM also mentioned the claims of corruption against several opposition leaders and said that they as a united front is offering, "a guarantee of corruption". Modi reportedly said, "From helicopter to Submarine, there is no sector which has not been preyed upon by the hand of the Congress. Look at RJD, thousands of crores allegations they face. RJD corruption is so big, that even courts are tired. They are giving out convictions one after that other. In Tamil Nadu, DMK has allegations of gathering property in an illegal way. Even TMC has allegations of over Rs 23,000 crore, the people of West Bengal can’t forget these instances of corruption. NCP has corruption allegations to the tune of Rs 70,000 crore.. the scam metre of these parties never goes down."

Narendra Modi on UCC

PM Narendra Modi went on to speak about the Indian Civil Code and addressed the controversy that has surrounded the topic. He reportedly said, "India’s Muslim brothers and sisters should understand which political parties are trying to incite them and trying to profit by destroying them. In the name of the Uniform Civil Code, they are trying to incite them.”

Further, the PM mentioned the developments made for the Pasmanda Muslims by BJP and the active outreach programme for the community, he said, "The lives of our Pasmanda Muslim brothers and sisters have been made hellish by those who do vote bank politics. They live a life of struggle. No one listens to them. They have been discriminated against so much, but there has been no debate on this. Even today, Pasmanda Muslims are not given an equal share. They are thought of as untouchables."

He reportedly added, "They have been discriminated against so much that several generations have had to suffer. But BJP will work for every citizen with the mindset of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’. When our booth workers will go with this mindset to Muslim brothers and sisters and help them understand, then all misunderstandings will be cleared.”

He also said those supporting triple talaq were doing grave injustice to Muslim daughters. He reportedly said, “If this was an important aspect of Islam, then why is it not there in Pakistan, Indonesia, Qatar, Jordon, Syria and Bangladesh?” He further said that the practice of triple talaq was removed 80-90 years ago in Egypt and aiming at the people who are against the banning of triple talaq, said, “some people want the license to discriminate against Muslim women all the time through the Triple Talaq noose”.
