Madhya Pradesh: 4 People Dead As Fire Engulfs 6 Vehicles At Agra-Mumbai Highway

According to a PTI report, the horrific accident at Agra-Mumbai highway took place on Monday evening. It has been reported that the driver of a truck lost control of his vehicle while coming down from Ganesh Ghat which consequently hit several vehicles. This collision led to the breakout of a major fire.

In a massive accident at Dhar’s Ganesh Ghat in Madhya Pradesh, four people were killed while three others sustained serious injuries as fire engulfed six vehicles, including cars and one truck which collided with each other.

According to a PTI report, the horrific accident took place on Monday evening. It has been reported that the driver of a truck lost control of his vehicle while coming down from Ganesh Ghat which consequently hit several vehicles. This collision led to the breakout of a major fire.

“The incident took place in the evening after the truck’s brakes failed. The truck broke the side railings and fell on the other side and also hit several vehicles,” Dhar Superintendent of Police Manoj Singh said.

“A major fire caused by the accident engulfed three to four vehicles, killing two truck drivers and a motorcyclist. Three persons suffered injuries. Fire tenders were rushed to the site to douse the blaze. Traffic was disrupted on the stretch,” he said.

The injured have been hospitalised and a probe into the incident is underway, the SP added.
