Posters were put up outside the office of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bala Thackery) in Mumbai urging Uddhav Thackery and Raj Thackery to unite.

This comes a day after Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar takes oath as the deputy chief minister in the Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra along with eight other NCP leaders inducted as ministers.

The poster hung outside Shiv Sena (UBT) office claimed that the Maharashtra political environment has been turned into mud and asked leaders Raj Thackery and Uddhav Thackery to forget their differences and unite, saying that "all of Maharashtra is waiting for you".

Ajit Pawar's NCP coup

On Sunday, Nationalist Party leader Ajit Pawar backed by a pool of party leaders took oath as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra. Eight other NCP leaders along with Pawar were also inducted as ministers in the Eknath Shinde government.

The Maharashtra NCP president Jayant Patil moved a disqualification petition to the state assembly speaker Rahul Narvekar against Ajit Pawar and eight others who took oath as ministers on Sunday.

Raj Thackery and Uddhav Thackery history

In 2005, Raj Thackery who is a cousin of Uddhav Thackery left Shiv Sena to form his own party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, a year later.

Since then the two have been at loggerheads as Raj Thackery claimed that he was being used in the party only for campaigns.

On Sunday after Ajit Pawar's big move came out to the public, Raj Thackery tweeted claiming that the country is standing in front of the mud of politics of Maharahstra. He said, "Today, 'Digu Tipnis' in the last scene of the movie Throne of Maharashtra happened."
