The Budget Session of the Delhi assembly began with chaos on Friday as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs raised slogans. The slogans were raised during Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena's address.

Saxena was welcomed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on his arrival in the assembly.

Following the sloganeering, Speaker Ram Niwas Goel ordered three BJP MLAs out of the House.

The Opposition BJP MLAs demanded the resignation of Kejriwal over alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped Delhi Excise Policy, while the ruling AAP legislators protested against the BJP as Saxena began his address.

Goel had to order for marshalling out three BJP MLAs to bring order to the house. The LG's address then commenced again.
