Right ahead of his apperance before Enforcement Directorate scheduled on December 21 in connection with a money laundering case, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal is planning to go for a 10-day Vipassana meditation session from Tuesday, party leader Raghav Chadha said. The money laundering case reportedly is linked to the now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy.
According to Chadha, Kejriwal's Vipassana meditation camp had been scheduled in advance and legal advice was being taken from lawyers.
Last month as well Kejriwal was asked to appear before the federal probe agency on November 2 which he skipped alleging that it was illegal and politically motivated. Moreover Kejriwal also faced interrogation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Delhi liquor case in April this year.
About Kejriwal's Vipasanna meditation session
The Delhi chief minister has been practising Vipassana, an ancient meditation system technique in which practitioners abstain from any communication for an extended period in a bid to restore their mental well-being.
Every year, Kejriwal goes for a 10-day Vipassana course and according to this year he will do so from December 19 to 30, officials said.
